Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released admit cards for the UPPSC Preliminary Exam 2014.
The exam for recruitment to Provincial Civil Services is scheduled for August 3 at exam centers across Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates can download the admit cards by submitting their registration numbers and other details on the below mentioned link: http://uppsc.up.nic.inCandidates need to produce a valid ID proof along with admit card.
PAPER - I
General Studies-I (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
Current events of national and international importance.
History of India and Indian national movement.
Indian and world geography - physical, social and economic geography of India and the world.
Indian polity and governance - Constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, public policy, rights etc.
Economic and social development - sustainable development, poverty inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives, etc.
General Issues on environmental ecology, biodiversity and climate change that do not require subject specialisation.
General Science
PAPER- II
General Studies-II (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
Comprehension
Interpersonal skills including communication skills.
Logical reasoning and analytical ability.
Decision making and problem solving.
General mental ability
Elementary mathematics up to Class X - arithmetic, algebra, geometry and statistics.
General English up to Class X
General Hindi up to Class X.
