Online shaving startup Harry's is on a mission to prove that higher quality doesn't have to mean a higher price.








The company was started in New York by two friends after one of them had an all-too-familiar experience buying refill blades, which included a locked shelf and a $32 receipt.






Frustrated not only by the price, but also the “futuristic” branding and lack of alternatives, Andy called up his friend (and future co-CEO) Jeff Raider, and they decided to get into the shaving business to create a better option – one that would provide both great quality and great value. After an extensive search for quality blade manufacturers, the two found one of the world's premier blade factories, Feintechnik. This German factory had been mastering the craft of grinding steel and engineering razor blades for almost 100 years.
